Through 3 Quarters
Down two at the end of last quarter, the Kansas State Wildcats have now snagged the lead. It's anybody's game after three quarters, but K-State is ahead of the Southern Illinois Salukis 24-23.
The Wildcats and SIU came into this contest with previous-game wins. We'll see if K-State can maintain their lead to polish off another win and cancel out Southern Illinois' positive energy.

What to Know
The Southern Illinois Salukis are on the road again Saturday and play against the Kansas State Wildcats at 7 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely SIU's strategy against the Southeast Missouri State Indians last week. The Salukis put the hurt on Southeast Missouri State with a sharp 47-21 win. With SIU ahead 28-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Meanwhile, K-State strolled past the Stanford Cardinal with points to spare last week, taking the contest 24-7. K-State can attribute much of their success to RB Deuce Vaughn, who rushed for one TD and 124 yards on 13 carries. That touchdown -- a 59-yard rush in the second quarter -- was one of the highlights of the contest.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. Watch the contest and check back on CBS Sports to find out who keeps up the positive energy and who hits a stumbling block.
